Our people, customers and shareholders are part of the greater ecosystem in both local communities and around the world. The work we do shaping success for the community leads to a more healthy and vibrant society.
Almost a decade ago, LocumTenens.com made corporate social responsibility a part of our strategic business platform and consider it an important KPI in the measure of our success. We believe making an impact globally and right here in our community is an essential component of what makes our company and our associates successful.
Pro bono work and social responsibility are part of the very DNA of Dentons. Our Firm shares a rich culture of dedication to the communities in which we live and work. When we first came together to form Dentons, we all shared the same core value of being in and of the community. Our people not only understand different cultures and local customs, they are part of them.
“We at Sunnyland believe in helping kids rise to their potential,” said Alex Willson. “We have worked on encouraging them to show up for important standardized tests and perform well by encouraging them with both praise and fun incentives like pizza parties which gets kids excited about learning.”
Broker Scott Askew reminds all Advisors during every staff meeting: “We are very fortunate to do what we do and to own what we have. Let’s make sure to give back to our community along the way.” This simple notion has become the cornerstone of Engel & Völkers’ philosophy, and it is reflected within all parts of our organization.
At 3Ci, it’s all about “giving forward.” As Owner & CEO Don Barden would say, “giving back assumes you took something. Great leaders ‘give forward,’ without any expectation of anything in return.” It is our mission at 3Ci to continue to invest in and serve communities and causes that positively impact the people of Georgia. You can find us taking 250 U.S. Army Rangers to an Atlanta Hawks game for Christmas every year, or working on our 14th Habitat Home this spring, or donating our time and fundraising dollars to support technology initiatives for women, minorities, and children in Atlanta. At 3Ci we believe in serving our community so much, that we made it our mission statement; “We exist to ignite the success of our people, customers, business partners, and community.” How can we serve you?
On hot summer days, many property owners, farmers and gardeners wake to the glorious sound of sprinklers – giving their precious lawns, plants or crops the important irrigation they need to grow and thrive. Because Mother Nature can be unpredictable, and humans want predictable crops, gardens and landscaping, supplemental irrigation is often necessary. Ed Klaas and his wife Silvina founded Southern Sprinkler Systems in 2000. With more than 2,350 customers across metro Atlanta, Southern Sprinklers provides irrigation services for everything from residential properties and homeowners’ associations to commercial properties and parks, including Centennial Olympic Park, and everything in between.
Much of Balentine’s community impact has focused on improving the lives of impoverished children or those from low-income homes.
