Our Philosophy
North Highland wants to create sustainable, long-term economic empowerment in the communities in which we work and live. Our end goal will be to stop poverty before it starts. To do that, we must fix the root causes of poverty, not just its symptoms, through disruptive new approaches.
To achieve this goal, we will harness our consulting expertise to work with civic, non-profit and other experts in economic empowerment to develop partnerships which focus on the power of taking a more holistic approach to economic empowerment. North Highland will support projects that tackle financial stability, family sustaining employment and housing holistically, because our research shows these core areas can have a bigger and longer term impact.
Giving a blanket to a homeless person makes you feel good, but they are still homeless the next day. Think about the community involvement that you get into and see if you can work your way back in the problem to prevent it.
