As much as Northwest Exterminating is in the pest control business, we’re even more so in the people business. It’s that train of thinking that pushes us to think outside the box on how we can better serve the communities we live and work in; the creation of our Good Deeds Team came from just that.
As a part of our culture, Transwestern is committed to giving back to the community by supporting several organizations at the local levels as well as a national philanthropic partnership with Make A Wish. O’Steen Subaru & Volkswagen of Valdosta is family owned and operated. Since opening our doors in Valdosta, focusing on giving back to the community and those in need has always been our number one priority. We have the joy to work with many local charities such as Boys & Girls Club, Greater Valdosta United Way, B.A.R.C. Humane Society, LEIF Foundation, The James Eunice Foundation and so much more. We are proud to be part of the Valdosta and South Georgia community, and it is important to everyone at O’Steen to give back.
Much of Balentine’s community impact has focused on improving the lives of impoverished children or those from low-income homes. Chairman Robert Balentine likes to say that the culture of giving back to the community starts at the top. Employees get monthly briefings on potential volunteer projects so they know where to direct their time and talent.
At our Savannah-based IT services firm, employees are encouraged to help others by participating in events that help the community. These events range from book drives to improve the reading skills of Chatham County public school students to toy drives that brighten the holidays for homeless children at Savannah’s Union Mission to food drives that support our local Second Harvest food bank in combating hunger.
At Resurgens Orthopaedics, we help our patients “get moving again” by providing excellent, innovative, patient-focused and comprehensive orthopaedic care. But our commitment to get moving again extends beyond our practice and into the communities where we live and work. Toward that end, The Resurgens Charitable Foundation was founded in 2001 with the mission to support and promote active lifestyles for people of all ages and abilities.
Our people, customers and shareholders are part of the greater ecosystem in both local communities and around the world. The work we do shaping success for the community leads to a more healthy and vibrant society.
At Secure Records Solutions, our number one core value is to improve the lives of others. We honor that commitment in the work we do, and beyond business by looking for opportunities to help the communities where we work and live based on our unique capabilities.
